AgroExpo returns on Aug. 13th and 14th to provide agricultural demonstrations, speakers, and exhibits at Michigan’s largest agricultural trade show. It is hosted at the North Central Research Station in St. Johns, Michigan.

In 2023, over 4,100 attendees explored the seventh annual AgroExpo. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with many exhibitors specializing in all areas of agriculture.

Each year features a demonstration of equipment.  This year’s demonstrations will focus on agriculture drone sprayers, forage harvesters, and strip-tillage equipment. And new for 2024, farm safety demonstrations that include Grain Bin Safety and Manure Pit Safety.

“This is my second year as the show coordinator and I’m thrilled to bring the agricultural community together this August,” said Marnie Swartzendruber, AgroExpo Show Coordinator.  “We have many exciting speakers, demonstrations, and vendors. I’m sure attendees will be pleased with the variety of agricultural industries represented this year.”

Over 175 vendors have committed to the AgroExpo, providing a wide range of services to farmers including equipment retailers, seed companies, and much more.

AgroExpo will host speakers that discuss issues related to soil health, nutrient management, disease management, silage production, and legal topics impacting agriculture.

“After having such a great AgroExpo in 2023, I’m very excited for this year’s Expo. Last year we had record attendance at the two-day event. “This was wonderful because the show strives to provide a wide array of resources to prosper Michigan growers”, said Swartzendruber.

Again in 2024, the AgroExpo will host the Michigan FFA Crop Management Challenge, which is a competition designed to help students develop sound agronomic, marketing, and environmental decisions in a demonstration plot. And in addition to the crop challenge the AgroExpo also hosts the Michigan FFA Tractor Driving Contest. Check the schedule for dates and times.

“I would encourage attendees to frequently visit our website or social media pages to keep up to date on the event,” said Swartzendruber.

The 2024 AgroExpo is scheduled for August 13th and 14th.
