The 96th National FFA Convention is underway in Indianapolis, with several Missouri chapters set to receive national recognition over the next three days.  State Executive Secretary Teresa Briscoe says two of the state’s top chapters will receive recognition Thursday evening during the Third General Session.

Sessions during the next two days will feature finalists for National Premier Chapter Awards.  Briscoe says three area chapters earned national recognition for their efforts to grow leaders and strengthen agriculture.

Missouri FFA Executive Secretary Teresa Briscoe adds that 25 Missouri chapters will receive three-star awards, and another 11 will pick up two-star awards, at Thursday afternoon’s Second General Session.
