University of Missouri Extension will welcome families back to Jefferson Farm this Thursday evening for a Science Night, introducing kids to animal genetics. Extension livestock specialist Heather Conrow explains why genetics is this year’s focus.
Conrow says in addition to presentations from MU animal science experts, kids will have a chance to take part in hands-on activities including lockbox puzzles.
The University of Missouri Extension Science Night runs Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jefferson Farm, southeast of Columbia on New Haven Road. The event is free, but advance registration is required by visiting Extension’s website.
