MU Extension To Host Farm Lease Class At Nine Locations

University of Missouri Extension will host a class next week detailing the ins and outs of using farm leases in the state. Ag business specialist Mary Sobba explains what the class will cover.
Sobba says the class is for both landowners and renters. She adds that the class will meet concurrently at five locations Tuesday night, followed by four locations Wednesday afternoon, along with an option to join either virtually.
The farm lease class will meet Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:30 in Columbia, Farmington, Ironton, Lancaster and Point Lookout. Wednesday’s sessions from 1 to 3:30 will meet in Kahoka, Linn, Saint Joseph, and Warrenton. Registration is $40 through the University of Missouri Extension’s website and closes Friday.
