Seven FFA chapters in Missouri can boast multiple proficiency award winners this year.  In Atlanta’s case, their two proficiency award winners are also the first in program history.  Senior Aislynn Baker won the award for forage production and credits adviser Jessy Rueterdahl for encouraging her to apply.

Baker raised forage on the family farm for her herd of over 200 cattle.  She explains the significance of being one of Atlanta’s first proficiency award winners.

Joining Aislynn Baker as a proficiency award winner from Atlanta was Dane Christy, who won in poultry management.
