The Lincoln County singer who finished runner-up on NBC’s The Voice will open for a country music legend on the Missouri State Fair’s grandstand this summer.  Ruby Leigh of Foley will kick off the Aug. 13th concert on the Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance.  The 16-year-old turned heads and chairs on The Voice last fall, attracting the attention of the show’s four judges.  Behind the coaching of first-time judge and country music icon Reba McEntire, Leigh won her knockout rounds and advanced through the live rounds, finishing second to Huntley.

Leigh will open for Tracy Lawrence, whose three-decade career has included 18 number-one hits and 13 million albums sold.  Those number-one hits range from title tracks “Sticks and Stones” and “Alibis” to 2006’s “Find Out Who Your Friends Are”.  He’ll look to add to his collection of hits with the release of his new album in June, Out Here In It, and is set to go on tour this spring with Riley Green.

Tickets for this and other shows on the Missouri State Fair Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance will go on sale the morning of May 21st through Etix.  The Tracy Lawrence with Ruby Leigh show will be $35 for grandstand seating and $40 for track seating.
