Contest Champion Credits FFA Creed For Opening Doors To Agriculture
A move to Milan from Chicago set Jasmine Appledorn on a path leading to a state title. The Milan FFA member won this year’s Creed Speaking contest. She credits FFA for leading her to embrace her rural surroundings.
Appledorn sought a spot on Milan’s Knowledge Team, but said the creed contest allowed her to develop a passion for public speaking.
She adds that there’s more to the contest than just reciting the creed’s five paragraphs.
Milan also repeated as FFA Knowledge team champions.
