Missouri Farm Bureau president Garrett Hawkins is calling on Missouri’s farmers and rural residents to complete the state Department of Economic Development’s Broadband Availability Challenge.  He says it’s a chance to show where the service is still needed.

Another one-point-seven billion dollars is available for Missouri’s Office of Broadband to push internet service providers to connect underserved or unserved areas.  Hawkins says it’s important for state officials to hear from residents through the challenge, especially those who still lack any high-speed internet access.

Information about the Broadband Availability Challenge is available on the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s website.  The deadline to submit information is April 23rd.
