The 96th Missouri FFA Convention will offer a series of workshops Thursday and Friday for chapters to take in and enhance their members’ experience with the organization.  State executive secretary Teresa Briscoe says two of the workshops Thursday will be led by National FFA Secretary and Mexico FFA alumnus Grant Norfleet.

Another workshop, set for Friday, will see FFA members who work with beef cattle complete their Beef Quality Assurance certification training, sponsored by the Missouri Beef Industry Council.

Meanwhile, several chapters will spend part of their time at convention completing a community service project.

The 96th Missouri FFA Convention begins Wednesday afternoon, with all general sessions and most activities centered on the Hearnes Center on the University of Missouri campus.
